See What our Volunteers Have to Say!
“I love spending the day outdoors with friends that feel like family. I enjoy helping the vendors, knowing they have had to work so hard to get here.” ~ Meri
“My work at the Kids Patch gives me confirmation that today's children still know how to use their imaginations. I'm often pleasantly amazed at how creative they can be.” ~ Pat
“I continue to delight in seeing the market grow year to year, greeting returning vendors like old friends, watching people shop for the wonderful produce, seeing old friends connect again, seeing the same people return week after week, people dancing to the music, watching children play and grow from year to year, seeing families having dinner on blankets and a business man taking a bouquet of lovely flowers home to someone special. What more could a volunteer ask for?” ~ Fay
“I don't remember when I actually started at the market, it was after I retired, and I wanted to do something with people. I like meeting all the people that come each week, especially newcomers to Renton and those who say, "I didn't know this was here.” ~ Sonja
“The Renton Farmers Market has been an inviting and fun place where vendors are passionate about their products and the volunteers make it just right. The people from all around come together for good health and a good time. It’s a nice place to be.” ~ Nancy
“I enjoy volunteering at the Renton Farmer's Market because of the vibrant, robust, activity it brings to downtown Renton on market days. Downtown Renton comes alive.” ~ Jim
